1 Children under 5 travelling free should not occupy a seat. All children should be accompanied by an adult.

2 Pre-booked tickets must be purchased by the Friday before travel directly from Vintage Trains in order to qualify for the special fare.

3 Family tickets are for 2 Adults & 2 children or 1 Adult & 3 children travelling together in standard class only and need to be pre-booked directly from Vintage Trains by the Friday before travel.

4 STANDARD CLASS AFTERNOON RETURN SPECIALS
Travel on 12:32 from Stratford & return on 13:53 from B'ham or travel on 13:53 from Birmingham & return on 16:10 from S'ford - one child goes FREE with every adult, or get £10 OFF a Family Ticket. TICKETS MUST BE PREBOOKED to get this SPECIAL saving.

5 A Dining Car Service operates in Premier Dining. All seats and meal(s) must be pre-booked with Vintage Trains by the Friday before travel. A meal must be taken in at least one direction. (please contact the Vintage Trains office to check on availability, as seats are limited).

When booking you need to specify which trains you intend to travel out and back on, and every person within your party must also pre-book to take a meal together in at least one direction.

Special dietary requirements must be requested when making your booking.


The meal supplement depends upon which train you intend to take the formal meal as detailed in the above.  You may, of course, choose to take a meal in both directions. There are no special menus for children. We regret that infants under 5 cannot be accommodated within Dining Cars.
