The Shakespeare Express is a regular steam train service that runs on Summer Sundays through the delightful Warwickshire countryside.... Shakespeare's County..... between Birmingham and Stratford-upon-Avon.

Passengers may join the trains at Birmingham (Snow Hill or Moor St), Stratford, Henley or Tyseley.

The train service is provided by Vintage Trains, which is one of the U.K.'s leading operators of main line steam train excursions. We also operate other popular tours using classic diesel and electric locomotives.

Based in the Midlands, we offer an attractive and varied choice of destinations and excursions to popular events.

As a subsidiary of the Birmingham Railway Museum Trust, ticket sales income is reinvested in running, maintaining and rebuilding historic engines, rolling stock and equipment kept at our home base - Tyseley Locomotive Works.

We have an active supporters group called the Vintage Trains Society. Many members volunteer to help keep the trains running.
