Booking Terms

All bookings are subject to Vintage Trains Standard Conditions of Booking and Travel. They are available here for you to view and print in two formats:

Admission to attractions and fares for add-on trips at the train set down points are NOT included in the Shakespeare Express ticket price. Such attractions need to be paid locally by passengers wishing to take advantage of these attractions

Notes

1 Children under 5 travelling free should not occupy a seat. Only one free child per adult. All children should be accompanied by an adult.

2 Pre-booked tickets must be purchased by NOON on the Friday before travel in order to qualify for the discounted fare.

3 Family tickets are for 2 Adults & 2 Children or 1 Adult & 3 Children travelling together in standard class only.

4 Standard Class seats are not allocated (even when pre-booked). The seats are first-come first-serve.

1 Premier tickets and meals - must be purchased by NOON on the Friday before travel. If you are ordering by post please contact the Vintage Train office to check availabilty, as seats are limited.

2 Meals - When booking you need to specify which trains you intend to travel out and back on, and every person within your party must also pre-book to take at least one meal.

3 Special dietary requirements must be requested when making your booking.

4 High Tea Choice - There is a choice of chicken or salmon for High Tea. Please specify your choice when booking.

5 Children - There is no special child menu & no concessionary meal tariff. We regret that children under 5 cannot be accomodated in the dining cars.

6 Premier Class seats are assigned and you will be shown to your seat by a steward.

A charge of £1.50 per booking will be applied for all credit card transactions.
Debit Card and Cheque transactions :
No booking fee.

Book On The Day (standard class only)

Standard class tickets can be purchased on the day of travel (subject to availability). Cash & cheques only.

Only Vintage Trains Limited tickets valid on our trains. Concessions available on public trains do not apply.

Tickets can be purchased from a member of the Vintage Trains staff on Snow Hill or Stratford-upon-Avon stations or by getting on the train at Moor Street, Tyseley and Henley-in-Arden.
