Timetable notes
Trains make a prompt departure. Passengers should arrive at stations in plenty of time before the scheduled departure in order to allow time to make their way to the appropriate departure platform.
Sunday trains are sometimes disrupted to allow essential track maintenance etc. There may be a need for these times to be adjusted at short notice. Such alterations are not within the control of Vintage Trains Limited.

Special CHILTERN RAILWAYS add-on fares
For passengers travelling from London and the South, why not use Chiltern Railways to ease the journey? Connections by Chiltern Railways trains from London Marylebone, High Wycombe, Princes Risborough, Bicester and Banbury, can be made to the Shakespeare Express train B from Stratford upon Avon, to permit a round trip to Birmingham. Chiltern Railways special tickets are bookable through the Vintage Trains booking office for an additional charge. Please ask for more details at the time of booking.

Premier Dining
Dining at tables for 2 and 4 persons in BR Mk 1 Pullman Cars.
Journey OPTIONS
Return journey from Birmingham
(Snow Hill, Moor Street, or Tyseley)
• travel out on train A (Breakfast option in Premier Dining)
• return on train B, or later on train D (High Tea option in Premier Dining).
• travel out on train C
• return on train D (High Tea option in Premier Dining).
Round trip from Stratford
• travel out on train B (Lunch option in Premier Dining)
• returning on train C
Round trip from Henley
• travel out on train A
• then to Birmingham on train B (Lunch option in Premier Dining)
• returning on train C.
Single Standard Class tickets are available on all trains - subject to availability of seats.

USEFUL INFORMATION

• We offer a group discount for groups of 10 or more adults. Discounts are available on application. Tour Operators & Group Travel page
• A buffet carriage is available on all trains, selling hot drinks and other refreshments
• An on-train shop offers a range of gifts for young and old, so you can take away a memento of the day. These include badges featuring our regular engine.
• We provide route notes for your convenience to look out for various noteworthy lineside views. Copies also available here on our Stations page
• There is a free car park at Tyseley Locomotive Works Visitor Centre, 5 minutes walk from Tyseley Station.
Notice : Vehicles and contents left in the TLW Car Park are entirely at the vehicle owners risk.
• No dogs or pets allowed, however we are happy to accommodate dogs for the disabled by prior arrangement.
• Passengers With Special Needs - we can accommodate a small number of people using wheelchairs. It is essential to contact Vintage Trains directly to discuss availability of our facilities and your requirements before making a booking.
• Customers are reminded that smoking in public places is prohibited. Areas designated 'NO SMOKING' include ALL CARRIAGES ON ALL TRAINS AS WELL AS ALL RAILWAY PLATFORMS AND PREMISES.
