Card Payments
Credit Card Booking Fee:
A charge of £1.50 per booking will be applied for all credit card transactions.
Debit Card and Cheque transactions : no booking fee.
Train Times
Any quoted departure & arrival times are approximate. The actual times for individual trains will only be notified to Vintage Trains by the rail authorities near to the departure day.
Finalised times will be confirmed usually within 7 days of the trip to passengers only .
Valid Tickets
Only Vintage Trains Limited tickets are valid on Vintage Trains excursions & the Shakespeare Express. Concessions available on public trains do not apply.
Tickets are obtainable from the Vintage Trains office or directly from VT staff on the day (subject to seat availability).
Vintage Trains & Shakespeare Express tickets cannot be purchased from station booking offices.

Child Fares
Reduced price travel for juniors (age 5-15 years) is available on some Vintage Trains excursions. Please check individual trains for details.
All Juniors must travel with an adult.
Infants under 5 may travel free and should not occupy a seat.
Only one child per adult qualifies for these concessions.
Group Travel
Call us for special group prices, which can start from parties of 10 adults.

Corporate Activities
We are able to provide a range of services for corporate events. This could start from block reserved accomodation within one of our public trains to the hire of a complete dining train with special menus.

Dining
Dining facilities are offered on most trains - please check individual trains for details.
All dining must be pre-booked.
Special dietary requirements must be requested when making your booking.
There is no special child menu & no concessionary meal tariff fare.
We regret we are unable to accommodate infants under 5 in the dining cars.
Passengers With Special Needs
We can accommodate a small number of people using wheelchairs.
It is essential to contact Vintage Trains directly to discuss availability of our facilities and your requirements before making a booking.
Stewards are on duty to answer any questions, to assist passengers who may need some extra help and to try to make your journey comfortable and pleasurable.
Guide Dogs Only
Vintage Trains regrets that Dogs are NOT allowed on any train except for Specially Trained Dogs for the Disabled.
No Smoking
Customers are reminded that UK government legislation prohibits smoking in public places. Areas designated NO SMOKING include ALL CARRIAGES ON ALL TRAINS AS WELL AS RAILWAY PLATFORMS AND PREMISES.
