Silver Service is available in our Premier Dining Cars
For those passengers wanting to enjoy a traditional meal served at their seats whilst travelling on the Shakespeare Express or one of our many excursions we provide silver service dining serving traditional English fayre. This is available in our Premier Dining Cars.

Club Class Dining is available in First Class coaches on our Heritage Diesel Explorer Trains. This offers a light breakfast of cereals, orange juice, tea, coffee etc., and a light evening meal - air conditioned BR Mk 2 coaches.

The Meals served depend upon the train on which you choose to travel. You should check the individual train details.

Dining Seats must be pre-booked before travelling. For the Sunday Shakespeare Express service, you must book Premier Dining seats by close of business on the Friday before your selected date of travel. For excursions you must specifically book Premier Dining seats.

This will be at tables for two & four in our dining cars.

Table for Two : We can offer a "Table for Two" guarantee (subject to availability of tables) for those who make a small additional payment.

Sample Premier Dining menus are shown below. Special dietary requirements must be requested when making your booking.

A selection of beers, wines and spirits will be available for purchase (by dining passengers) from the dining car team to accompany your meal.

There is no special child menu.

We regret that we are unable to accommodate infants under 5 within dining cars.
